Sara is amazing! She helped us plan our wedding on April 17, 2010. We started working with Sara in the summer of 2009, and our wedding would not have been such a success without her. Sara was able to help my now husband, my family and me select everything from the reception site to the photographer to the flowers to make-up and hair. She was able to visualize what I wanted for my wedding day and make it a reality. Who knew there would be SO many varying opinions regarding our wedding! A Persian wedding at that! Sara was with us from day one of our engagement and it was not a minute too soon. From all of the various venue possibilities to the ever fluctuating guest count Sara rolled with it and kept us focused and excited and never let us lose sight of the bigger picture. She was able to negotiate such great rates and discounts due to her many connections and she had one unique suggestion after another. I loved planning my wedding and had a great time doing it together with my mom. Both of my parents and my groom were terrific throughout the process of planning the 200 person event, which is why we hired Sara as our weekend planner. We really wanted to enjoy every detail and minute of the nuptials, and working with Sara ensured that we could truly enjoy it, and not get tied up in the stress of the weekend. I met Sara a few months beforehand and she served as a great reference and expert throughout the process. As I told her, I had never done this before so having her guidance was such an incredible comfort. A month before, she sat down with us to work on the most thorough timeline and plan for the weekend. I was so relieved as she thought of every tiny detail. 

That weekend, she was a rock. My parents, who had invested so much emotionally and financially, were able to sincerely enjoy every minute with our family and friends, and my husband and I had the time of our lives. I was really able to relax on my wedding day with my bridesmaids getting ready because I knew that Sara and her team were working diligently behind the scenes. They were out of the way, but there when we needed them and the whole weekend was seamless. We continue to say hiring Sara was the best investment we made since it bought us peace of mind.

We hired Social Scene to help with the final month of preparation and planning before our wedding in April 2008 and it was a life saver! When I got engaged in December 2006, I was immediately anxious about planning my wedding. Like anyone, I wanted to be sure it was perfect in every way. If I had one piece of advice for any bride, it would be to hire a wedding planner. It is the best gift you can give yourself. I happened to give myself the best gift possible when I found Sara.
